■ Quality Policy

Our quality policy is based on the belief that customer satisfaction is our first priority, and to achieve this, we will supply our customers with quality products manufactured in accordance with the following principles:

  1. High performance with advanced design concepts that give satisfaction and trust to our customers.
  2. Supply products at a price that is reasonable to the customer and that provides a fair profit margin.
  3. To improve the function of our management system, we always investigate the causes of problems and strive for continuous improvement.

■ Environmental Policy

  1. We will always pursue new environmentally friendly technologies, processes, and materials, and strive to develop products and provide services, as well as to continuously improve our environmental management system and prevent pollution.
  2. We will make utmost efforts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including environment-related laws, and other requirements to which we agree, as well as to ensure that all of our business partners and customers can use our products safely and with peace of mind.

  3. We will set specific objectives and targets and promote the following activities to be undertaken by all employees.

    • ・ We will promote energy and resource conservation and strive to protect the environment.
    • ・ Aim to reduce costs by eliminating waste in the workplace.
    • ・ We will promote 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) activities to reduce waste.
    • ・ We will manage chemical substances contained in our products.
  4. Kohzu Seiki promotes environmental education for our employees, always sharing new environmental knowledge and putting it into practice.
  5. This environmental policy will be thoroughly implemented within the company, and will also be widely disclosed outside the company in an effort to cooperate with all parties concerned.

Compliance with RoHS

■ Our measures for the addition of new restricted substances (specific phthalate esters)

The Annex II (List of Restricted Substances) of the revised RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU has been replaced by (EU) 2015/863, which requires that, from July 22, 2019, electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) containing more than 0.1 wt% of specified phthalate esters (*1) per homogeneous part must be registered in the EU Economic Area (EEA). The revision will prohibit the placing on the market within the European Economic Area (EEA) of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) containing more than 0.1 wt% of specified phthalates (*1) per homogeneous part.
As a result of this revision, some of our products will be positioned as non-compliant with the European RoHS Directive.

■ Our measures

  1. Our company's products that are compliant with the revised European RoHS Directive are as follows:

    • (1) Montblanc series positioning stages listed on our website and in the general catalog Vol. 22 are compliant.
    • (2) Controllers (KOSMOS series) are compliant.
  2. The compatibility status will be indicated for each model on our website.
  3. Old products, special-order products, and modified products are not applicable.

*1 The following 4 substances have been added to the restricted substances list.

Kohzu Seiki Co. has been certified as a "Green Partner" for certain products based on the "Green Partner Standards" established by Sony Corporation as part of its environmental management efforts.
Going forward, we will, of course, continue to strictly comply with the laws and regulations, including environment-related laws, and other requirements to which we agree, and make every effort to ensure that our business partners and customers can use our products safely and with peace of mind.
