When the controller (ARIES, LYNX, CRUX-D) is turned on, the EMG lamp (red lamp on the front panel) is lit.
The EMG lamp will light when the controller is in an emergency stop state. Check the emergency stop signal input or Motionnet cable connection. Refer to the emergency stop section of the “Instruction Manual” for each controller.
The emergency stop lamp of the CRUX-D is flashing. In addition, all lamps of the connected handy JOG box “INCOM” are lit.
Data in the controller's ROM is corrupted. It must be initialized and reconfigured.
ARIES/LYNX is used and the maximum speed of the axis cannot be set above 50,000 pps.
The maximum speed limit is probably set. Please change the system parameter No. 16.
I want to control CRUX-D with Chamonix.
It is possible. Please refer to the Chamonix User's Guide and User's Manual for details.
I want to display pulse values in units of µm, mm, deg, etc. on the Chamonix screen.
It is possible. Please refer to the Chamonix User's Guide.
The machine stops at a point that is out of the set origin position after homing using our controller CRUX-D, etc.
The homing method may not match the sensor configuration of the stage in use. Please check the specifications of your stage and select an appropriate homing method.
I want to use ARIES to set the pulse value to 0 when the rotating stage completes one round.
Set the system parameter No. 6 “PM PRESCALE” to the pulse value per revolution minus 1.
I want to reverse the correspondence between the direction of stage travel and the sign of the pulse value.
The sign of the pulses relative to the direction of motor rotation can be reversed by changing the system parameter No. 7 “PM ROTATE CHANGE. In this case, change the system parameter No. 8 “LIMIT SWAP” to replace the input destination of the CW limit sensor and CCW limit sensor signals. If the origin position shifts after reversing, set the number of pulses for the width of the dog to system parameter No. 1 “ORG OFFSET”.
I want to connect our motor driver and our positioning stage with a pulse controller (PLC, etc.) made by another company.
Refer to “Connection for Stage and Cable and Driver”.
The control resolution of the rotary stage or swivel (goniometer) stage used is not close enough, but I want to control it as close as possible.
It is possible to reduce the error by increasing the number of microstep divisions and making the control resolution finer.
A remote command is sent, but error No. 1 is returned and communication is not possible.
Instead of the control character “STX,” you may be sending the three characters “S,” “T,” and “X” in String. Please prefix STX (0x02) with the ASCII character code. Please refer to the instruction manual for details, and refer to the sample programs in VB and C#.
